Belladonna is both a doll and a puppeteer. Although her hands don?t actually connect to the marionettes, it is implied that she is controlling their movement. Her overskirt is reminiscent of the pannier framework of the 18th century. The doll is all fabric. The stage is created from boxes and the marionettes are wood and cloth.
