Troubles are usually brooms and shovels that smooth the road to the good man?s fortune; and many a man curses the rain that falls upon his head, and knows not that it brings abundance to drive away hunger.
Basil When I was a child, I was afraid of pretty much everything! One thing in particular was Ravens. To deal with this fear (and others) my grandmother would tell me stories. She told me that it was a sign of abundance to see ravens. They are smart birds that are smart enough not to always want to work too hard! So when you see a raven, know that they have found an ?abundance? and remember to be thankful!

Strange story, but it worked for me?and to this day when I see a raven?.even when times don?t seem to warrant it?.. I remember to be thankful!

This doll, ABUNDANCE, is homage to my grandmother, who made my life so wondrous and colorful with her patience and love.

ABUNDANCE is a 19? ?weighted? doll that will stand on her own. Her face is needle sculpted, then ?skinned? with another layer of cotton. Her companion, RAVEN, is made of fabric and wire.

During the class we will explore simple dying of fabrics, fabric collage, bead embellishment, needlesculpting?..just to name a few things!

And as always I will add surprises along the way!!!

Also, I would hope that this class would add abundance to your life!
