Tessa Victorian Explorer

Summer Joy 18" (45.7cm)

Designed by Nancy Hall

This is Tessa, a Victorian Explorer. Tessa is a 19 inch cloth doll.
She has prepared for an expedition with her telescope, map and veiled pith helmet. Not one to let the typical Victorian ladies costume of long skirts get in her way, she is dressed in wide pantaloons with a long coat, high boots, vest and blouse with a high collar.
All parts of this pattern are detailed with photos and step by step instructions.
Instructions for the telescope, map and hat are given. There are metal supports (knitting needles) in her legs going through the heels of her shoes into the base allowing her to be put onto any base you want.
Go wild with the embellishments on her coat and vest. Give her a tool belt for handy things like keys, knife, candle, etc. . Instructions come complete and very detailed in PDF format.
