Birds, birds, birds!

Funky little birds made from wool felt ? I?ll bet you can?t stop at one!!

The birds can be made in naturalistic colours or pure fantasy. Make them simple or complex ? you choose. They make great wedding gifts, Christmas gifts or decorations as well as just being fun.

The birds are stitched completely by hand but you could choose to stitch them by machine if you prefer. I don?t give full instructions on the actual hand stitches ? I?m assuming that you know simple hand stitches like blanket stitch, although there are pictures demonstrating the stitch.

Included in this three lesson course ? starting with Basic Bird and working on through different sizes and types of birds. There are funky little big beak birds, black birds, Bride and Groom birds and even a Jubilee Bird . Lots of ideas for developing them further. I love that I can sit and stitch a bird whilst chatting to a friend or watching/listening to T.V. They are easily portable so can be stitched almost anywhere. I hope you will enjoy creating your flock as much as I have.
