This Workshop is divided into 6 Lessons for the INTERMEDIATE doll maker. I will provide clear instructions and directions, all supported by many drawings and hundreds of clear, full colour photos along the way. I will answer all questions you have during the workshop and long after the class is over.
Work at your own pace.

Lesson 1: CONSTRUCTION of TREE ARMATURE and BASE-

How to make and paint the base and stand
How to build the armature with armature wire and wadding

Lesson 2: PREPARING FABRIC and BUILDING TREE-

Painting techniques to use on fabric to give a ?bark/ tree? effect
Sewing preparing the tree
Attaching to armature
Making, Sculpting of the face and painting of Head and attaching to tree

Lesson 3: MAKING LEAVES and VINES, ATTACHING to TREE-

Preparing and burning leaves
Making Vines- includes beading techniques
Attaching to Tree Branches
Embellishing tree and head with beading techniques

Lesson 4: MAKING THE FAIRIES: IRIS and ERIN-

Sewing, Heads, arms, legs and bodies
Needle sculpting of faces
Assembling both fairies
Drawing, Painting and colouring faces and bodies

Lesson 5: ASSEMBLING, DRESSING and EMBELLISHING-

Making Iris?s underwear, skirt and top
Making Erin?s underwear, dress
Add Special touches with fabric burning effects
Embellishing with beading techniques, fibres and trims
Attaching Hair

LESSON 6: MAKING WINGS and FINISHING TOUCHES?

Making the wings,
Wiring of the wings and attaching them into position
And add those very important Finishing Touches to make them very special
