Entry #5 by Deborah Robinson

"My Icy Artic Princess rides her reindeer across the land spreading
blistery cold every where she visits. Snow flakes dot her "fur" hat and
blue lacy cape. Her pantaloons protect her legs from the cold while the
silk streamers of her skirt flutter in the frosty wind."
The mask is for protection from the bitter
cold and also to give and illusion of being an illusive being that
visits us with each blast of the winter wind. |

Here
is "Little Girl Blue With Nothing To Do." This idea came to me late
one evening. So I made up this pattern, designed by De Powell of
Bowls-n-Annies. She is made of pale blue robe velour, fuzzy side out.
Her dress top and panties are made of a tie-dyed cotton with the bow in
her hair and dress bottom made of velvet. I used sparkly fancy blue
yarn for her hair. Shoes are painted on. |

Old
Gram Winter is not mean like Old Man Winter. She just appreciates the
quiet beauty of winter.
|

My doll has the winter blues. She hasn’t even
bothered to get dressed and is still in her nightgown, robe and socks.
Instead of doing whatever projects she should be working on, she has
turned to romance pulp fiction. She seems to have even taken a break
from that. |
