Judi's Dolls

Oh my, I can't remember if this is an original design or someone else's pattern. She now lives with Nita though, I do know that much!

I had the honor of testing this pattern for Jacque. I've always loved this design.

This is actually supposed to be a sweet little Angel who is the Protector of Chocolate. Mine didn't turn out that way, ha!

I made this doll to teach a two part class with Shirley. I taught the doll and Shirley taught the costuming.

I started with flat faced mermaids and didn't like them - so I went to the sculpted faces. This doll is on the cover of the pattern that I sell.

I saw a cartoon which had sailors ogling mermaids in parks and complaining about how it just wasn't right. It inspired me to make my own northern mermaid.

I wasn't the only one who thought the northern mermaid was charming!

named by the magazine .. I never did get around to giving her a name ...

Designed these for a class I taught down on the Kenai peninsula. First ever out of town teaching trip. I had a blast!
