Judi's Dolls

This doll started my journey into doll making. She was made from a pattern in Soft Dolls and Animals. I think I made her in 2001.

I made a lot of mistakes with Leftover Lucy. I took Judy Ward's Cloth Dollmaking for Everyone class and this was the first doll from that.

Sold this one at an auction. It's fun to look at the face on this doll and more recent ones. I've come a long way.

I had to go to Texas for a 6 week school in 2002. I bought a $50 sewing machine so I wouldn't go crazy. Everyone in class loved this doll. I've made this pattern a few times and it's one of my favorites.

Another doll I made in Texas. I can't remember who the designer was.

I had a little online contest to see what color hair she should have and she didn't like the results. She wanted a cloche hat. So that's what she got.

Made a couple of these for my doll making friends. Used upside down fringe for embellishment.

Don't ask why she has ribbons all over her head.
