Australia Assoc.) artist, Michelle Munzone in creating this magical character.
This Workshop is divided into 5 Lessons for the INTERMEDIATE doll maker, but
beginners with sewing experience can make him too. Michelle provides clear, step
by step instructions, all supported by many drawings and clear, full colour
photos along the way. Michelle will answer all questions you have during
the workshop and long after the class is over. You can work at your own pace.
Lesson 1: HEAD CONSTRUCTION
Complete instructions on sewing his unusual hat/head piece, stuffing, inserting
the acrylic eyes, sculpting of nose and mouth. Drawing, painting and shading the
face.
Lesson 2: ARMS, HANDS,
LEGS & BODY CONSTRUCTION
Complete instructions on sewing, hands, body and two- part arms and legs. Making
and inserting Armatures for Hands. Stuffing Arms, Hands, Body and Legs.
Lesson 3: ASSEMBLING & DRESSING
Assembling Orsino- joining arms and legs together Sewing head, arms and legs to
body. Making Orsino’s outfit.
Lesson 4: EMBELLISHING
Embellishing jacket, hat, and rest of costume with Beads, Fabric effects, Trims
and Braids.
Lesson 5: MARIONETTE STRINGING
Step by step instructions on how to make the
T-bar and simple stringing method. Attaching Orsino to the bar.
Finishing Touches and further embellishing.
Michelle's classes are filled with easy to follow, step by step instructions,
with loads of hints and many, many close up colour photos and drawings to help
you make your very own...
