Spring Marotte is a wonderful, whimsical, hanging, doll scepter.

This class covers it all when it comes to creating faces. And when I say “covers” I mean it.

 Do you love the dimension which can only be achieved by creating a profile face, but despise the unsightly seam? Are you interested in using a variety of mediums to make a truly unique piece? Need some practice on your doll faces? Would you like to make a fun One of a Kind work of art for yourself or to give as a gift?

 If you answered yes to any of these questions then sign-up and join me in making your very own Spring Marotte. 

What you’ll learn:

-Sew a profile face and achieve different head shapes with one pattern.

-Needle sculpting the features
-Cloth overlay to hide the seam line
-Painting the face with acrylics and enhancing with pencils, pastels and pigma ink
-Putting to good use some items you may have accumulated such as trims, ribbons, beads, crystals, etc.
Most importantly- just to have fun and enjoy yourself in the process. 

Several pictures and plenty of text will guide you along the way---PLUS I’m here if you need me. I love to interact with the students, answering questions, offering advice, critiquing, etc.
