Kathryn Walmsley, NIADA

teaches the secrets of

Cloth Body Design

Tired of patching together pieces of various patterns to create your original ideas? In this class we will learn how to create simple or complex cloth bodies in static or animated positions to get just the body you want.   Your body may be used with your sculpted doll parts or your favorite cloth heads and hands. We’ll discuss how to change your new body pattern for use with different types of sculpted doll parts and with wire armatures.  You’ll complete this class with techniques to create long tall Sally or your favorite dancing dumpling of an elf!
