Jester pin doll pattern

Materials:
Bright scraps of Lycra, Satin,  --   Cotton for hat  --  Cotton/Muslin for face  --  Ribbons, Beads, Bells  --  pens, pencils, stuffing  --  NB: Pattern pieces are templates. Outline is sewing line.

HEAD:
Draw, then stitch around head on doubled fabric leaving open as indicated. Turn, stuff firmly. Close opening. draw/paint/colour face using pigma pens and Prismacolor pencils. stitch on small beads for eyes if desired.

HAT;
Draw and stitch around each of the three hat sections on doubled fabric. Leave open as shown at the bottom of each piece BUT stop at notches labeled A, B, C, D.
Now open to the notches and join A to B and C to D at front and back of hat.
Stuff lightly to end of each hat piece. Keep in mind to make this as flat as possible so it can be worn as a pin.

FINISH:
Trim with beads, bells, ribbons or whatever takes your fancy. Add a bell and ribbons at the end of each hat peak.

Stitch a pin to the back and wear with fun!!  Alternatively put the head on a stick by pushing up the back centre hat section. Stitch ribbon about his and and you have a Jester.
