Place organza over baker's parchment or waxed paper.
2- Make the wings from copper wire and cover with metallic paint on
one side. (Do not worry if it gets on both
sides). Holding the wing with a long
nose pliers at the joint edge, place carefully on the organza. Secure
with food cans or something heavy
on top.
3- Repeat with other wing.
4- Let dry overnight.
5- Remove cans and with pointed very sharp scissors cut around the wings.
It's all right if you leave less than 1/8"of organza
around the edges.
6- Turn the wing over and paint this side with the metallic
paint used on the front side.
7- Place on baker's
parchment and let dry. If needed go over the area that
needs more glittery paint.
8- When completely dry mark the veins with a Micron pen,
or with Elmer's glue and glitter.
